This steady growth plan continued throughout the 1990’s culminating in a decision by the original owners to split the company into two separate entities – Newstart Homes (Nth Qld) and Newstart Homes (SE Qld) Pty Ltd. Newstart Homes (SE Qld) Pty Ltd was acquired in May 2000 by national homebuilder Home Australia. Chris Mebberson General Manager	Chris has been a part of the Building Industry for nearly 30 years, starting out as a carpenters assistant and then operating a roof fixing business. Chris has worked for numerous companies in Senior Management roles and has been with the Home Australia Group for 9 years. Chris has learnt over the years that Client Satisfaction is a key point to a successful business and is very much part of Chris's strategies for Newstart Homes.
Barry Thompson Senior Design Sales Consultant	Barry is Newstart Homes most experienced home building consultant, starting with the company in 2002. He is committed to providing a dedicated service to his clients. His background encompasses 30 years within the building industry in both trade & technical sales roles. He has a genuine desire to help his clients achieve all that is important to them. He is Greensmart accredited, an experienced custom design specialist & a successful home builder himself. His experience & empathy will result in the best new home to meet your needs.
Blaine Watson Senior Design Sales Consultant	Blaine has been with Newstart Homes since 2006 & has a background in the finance industry of 7 years. Having obtained Real Estate Principal and finance broker qualifications and having personally built several times, Blaine is a real asset. A total of 18 years in the building industry.
Martin Kunzl Senior Design Sales Consultant	Martin has a 40 year history in the building industry, he graduated 1973 from the ‘Higher Technical Federal College’ in Linz, Austria and 1977 received his certificate as a ‘Construction Engineer’.  He was a construction manager for several years before leaving Europe in 1987 for Queensland.  In 1996 Martin was awarded the ‘Australian Associate Diploma’ in building and has had his own ‘Queensland Builder’s Licence’ since 1996. Martin joined Newstart Homes in 2013 and excels in areas of design and being a good listener to achieve your dreams and aspirations within a given budget.
